How to Be a Better Coach

No matter where you go online whether it's Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest you name it, there seems to always be someone telling you what to do, when to do it, and why you should do it their way.

And it's not just coaching business stuff either.

Everywhere you go, people are telling you…

What to eat.

What to think.

What to buy.

What to say.

And when to say it.

You either brush it off and move on your merry way (good for you) or you get sucked into yet another guru's do's and don'ts and add their latest tips to your ever growing to-do list…

I'm going to tell you something that I hope is very freeing to you…

Your coaching business is never going to feel good or perform well if you constantly jump on every band wagon around.

So get those dollar signs out of your eyes and pay attention…🤑

Coaching is about creating a ripple effect.

It's about changing lives and creating relationships. And none of this is going to happen if you're focused on vanity numbers and quick fixes that leave you stumped as to why things aren't working (because they worked so well for Suzie Q over there ….) and leaving you wondering what you're doing wrong, yet again.

Haven't you noticed that there isn't a one size fits all way to book clients?

If there was, don't you think we'd all have it figured out and be on the same page by now?

You know as well as I do, that there isn't.

There's good news though. ☀️

What this all means is that you can do this your way.

You can have a business that brings in a steady income.

You can have a business that changes the lives of others, including yours, for the better.

You can have a business that generates interest in what you do on the daily.

Piece of cake.

How? You decide how you want your business to look like in, say, 5 years from now, and you work backwards to make it happen. And you act as if you're, you circa 2028.

Because, really, don't you think it's time for a change?

Wouldn't it be nice if your coaching business was running the way you wanted it to run? On your terms. Not someone else's.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could show up online how you wanted to show up? Not how someone else tells you to?

Wouldn't it be nice to never have to worry when another client or student comes into your life because you 100% trust the process and believe in the work you do?

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to step away when life happens and rest assured that things were still working because you created a well oiled machine?

Easier said than done, right? I get it.

I remember being on the fence as to whether or not I should hire a coach to make sure I was staying on the right track and let me tell you, I'm so glad I did! If I hadn't gone all in, years back, I'd still be going to webinars like it was my full time job and dreaming about the day when all of this would happen for me. Seriously.

If I wanted clients to invest in me, I had to invest in myself. That's all there was to it. Plus, working with a coach was the best way to know how it's really done. It's like bonus on the job training!
