Becoming the CEO of your business aren’t just words on a website, it’s committing to the role of it. When we step into the unknown it is hard to commit to, however nothing amazing will happen if don’t seriously commit.
Sidetrack is your middle name [4.08]
I personally have to be very mindful with my time and how I assign tasks to myself because I can easily sidetrack. Intentionality means that I am getting the important tasks done so that my business can move forward. Often when I am very sidetracked, I will take a step back and work again when I feel aligned.
You’re constantly playing the comparison game [7.35]
There are a lot of coaches online. This game puts yourself into a mindset of ‘I’m not good enough’. If I find myself being negative from the comparison game, I will mute the person on Instagram and protect my mind from feeling lower than the person I’m comparing to. Another way I deal with comparison is by flipping the negativity, I will stop and reframe to say something nice about them.
If something doesn’t work, you’ll scrap it and start over again [11.00]
Just because something doesn’t work it doesn’t mean we need to do a completely new website or find a different niche. You can’t let someone saying ‘no’, let you down so fast, someone saying no just means they weren’t aligned with you and that’s okay. Always come back to your why and hold onto it.
You’re hiding [15.46]
For a long time I would hide behind my blog posts and pretty Pinterest images, however now the times have changed and people want to see YOU. People don’t care if your life isn’t perfect, they just want to connect with you. The right people will connect with you. We need to be confident in our offerings so that our clients will feel confident in them also.
